About ACODESS

Founded in 1986 by health professionals, ACODESS is an international non-profit making organisation, specialized in technical advice and assistance for the development of health care services and hospitals in countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia.

BULGARIA 2008 : DEVELOPMENT OF A HOSPITAL MASTER PLAN
ACODESS is carrying out, in collaboration with CREDES, the strategic plan for hospital infrastructure development in Bulgaria, with a World Bank funding.

This project foresees the definition of a new hospital infrastructure development policy, restructuring strategy and new investment programs.

The main objective of this project is to prepare the comprehensive rehabilitation of Bulgarian hospitals, and also to propose new models of hospital management and financing.

The CREDES/ACODESS consortium will work on the private sector participation and on the development of public-private partnerships (PPP) concerning both construction and hospital management.
